چکیده
Epilepsy is one of the most common neurological disorders affecting people all ages representing a significant social and public health burden. Current therapeutic options for epilepsy are not effective in proportion patients suggesting need identifying novel targets development more therapeutics. There growing evidence from animal human studies role impaired brain energy metabolism mitochondrial dysfunction epilepsy. Candidate compounds with potential to target energetics have promising future management other related disorders. Creatine naturally occurring organic compound that serves as an buffer shuttle tissues, such skeletal muscle, exhibit dynamic requirements. In this review, applications creatine supplements conditions which central component its pathology will be discussed. Currently, limited mainly preclinical suggest anticonvulsant properties creatine; however, exact mechanism remain elucidated. Future work should involve larger clinical trials used add-on therapy, followed by large monotherapy.

Exercise as a Potential Treatment for Drug Abuse: Evidence from Preclinical Studies
Epidemiological studies reveal that individuals who engage in regular aerobic exercise are less likely to use and abuse illicit drugs. Until recently, very few studies had examined the causal influences that mediate this relationship, and it was not clear whether exercise was effective at reducing substance use and abuse. In the past few years, several preclinical studies have revealed that exe...
متن کاملThymoquinone as a Potential Adjuvant Therapy for Cancer Treatment: Evidence from Preclinical Studies
Thymoquinone (TQ), the main bioactive component of Nigella sativa, has been found to exhibit anticancer effects in numerous preclinical studies. Due to its multitargeting nature, TQ interferes in a wide range of tumorigenic processes and counteracts carcinogenesis, malignant growth, invasion, migration, and angiogenesis. Moreover, TQ can specifically sensitize tumor cells toward conventional ca...

The purpose of the present work was to introduce 141Ce-EDTMP as a novel potential future pain palliative agent to patients suffering from disseminated skeletal metastases and diagnostic imaging radioisotope as well. Cerium-141 [T1/2 = 32.501 days, Eβ (max) = 0.580 (29.8%) and 0.435(70.2%) MeV, Eγ = 145.44 (48.2%) keV] possesses radionuclidic properties suitable for use in palliative therapy of ...
متن کاملDesign and Synthesis of 4-flurophthalimides as potential anticonvulsant agents
Objective(s): Anticonvulsant activity of phthalimide was discovered in 2000 by molecular hybridization of thalidomide and ameltolide. In our previous research we have reported some new 4-substituted derivatives of phthalimide with good activity against the tonic and clonic seizures Material and Methods: A series of novel 4-flurophthalimides that designed using bioisosteric replacement were synt...
